Fundraising
The Home and School Association has three main fundraisers per year to support operations and enrich education at St. Mary Help of Christians:
Harvest Dance – This fundraiser is the largest fundraiser of the year.
It is held annually in October.
There is a raffle, silent auction, and live auction which includes projects made
by the students of St. Mary.
This is a fun social evening complete with live music.
Chip Shoppe - This fundraiser is held in mid-November.
Chip Shoppe products are sold to family and friends.
The Chip Shoppe has a variety of product lines which
include cookie dough, frozen foods, candy, jewelry,
gift wrap, and many other items.
Work-a-thon - The work-a-thon is the second largest annual fundraiser
for St. Mary HOC School and is held in April. Our school chooses to do
a Work-A-Thon not only to raise money for school, but also to provide
a service to the members of our community who might need a little extra
help. The school asks people of our parish community, particularly senior
citizens, if they need any help with outdoor projects such as lawn raking,
garden cleaning, litter pick up, etc. This service is provided free by the
school’s students and parents. In addition, other gifts and donations
are accepted at any time. To make a donation to the school, please contact
the Principal at 251-3937 or the parish office at 252-1799.
